FALL is in the air and your chapter is gearing up for a big year!  We'll kick off with our Annual Membership meeting on August 18th, at the Fort Walton Beach Elk's Lodge.  Social begins 6pm, and dinner served at 6:45pm. We'll have a SHORT business meeting during dinner, and afterwards come see some guest speakers to get us caught up on what is happening in and around Troy University!

​Head Football Coach Jon Summerall (Head Football Coach) will make his FIRST VISIT to the Emerald Coast Chapter and we are very happy to have him.  Along with Coach Summerall we will have Head Men’s Basketball Coach Scott Cross (Head Men's Basketball Coach) and Head Women’s Basketball Coach Chandy Rigby (Head Women's Basketball Coach) here to speak to us as well. Director of Athletics Brent Jones will also be in attendance and we hope to see each and every one of you there!!
 
Please come out and support our Coaches and hear what they have to say about their programs, the state of athletics at Troy University in particular and the state of college athletics in general.​

​It's HOMECOMING week!
Homecoming Game is - Saturday Nov 9th 
- 10am Parade
- 12:30pm Tailgate
-2:30pm Kickoff

We hope that you will join us in Troy on Saturday for all the festivities.  Parade is at 10:00 in Downtown Troy, then up to the tailgate area at the Alumni House where we will be serving chili and all the fixings, along with Lloyd Taylor’s FAMOUS GUMBO!!  Should start dipping into the soup pot around 12:30.  So please come join us for this year’s Homecoming!
 
ADDED ATTRACTION:  We will be drawing the winning of our vacation raffle on Saturday.  If you haven’t got tickets yet, there is still time.  Please contact Joe Judkins to purchase, you DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND to be eligible.  This fund raiser goes DIRECTLY into the JC Connor Scholarship Fund which helps us provide much needed funds to our local students that decide to attend Troy University.
